The historic woodman lodge RESTORED!

This is actually one of Vanessa's consultation jobs from a while back (That I'm just now getting around to post.) An amazing old west corner stone. Built just at the turn of the century for a reprieve from the wild west. It was recently brought back to life by Peter La haye, and is now a great place to bring the family and chow down on some crazy good eats. I get hungry just typing about it....

Debbie Travis likes Omega Too!

The host and designer on home improvement shows like "Facelift" and "Painted House" seems to have found us on twitter, and passed along a few kind words. Thanks Debbie. This will give us confidence to continue forward in this "rough sea" economy. : )

Another great project by Frost Tsuji Architects:

With the help of some lighting from Omega Too, the new PUBLIC HOUSE at AT & T park has come together wonderfully. Tastefully connected to the design of the ball park, and the warm, relaxed atmosphere one would expect from a great beer & burger hang out. We love how well the galvanized pendant lights tie in with the wall-o'-kegs, and how well they illuminated the delicious deviled eggs and the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich we had there last night. ~ Yum.

Again, nice work Wendy & Frank.

Personalized Illustration Lights

In an effort to stay interesting, new and unique ( not to mention staying profitable.) we have found ourselves creating custom illustrated lights.
You can ask for your child's name, interests, room theme, or ?... to be included in the drawing done by Mark Bell. ( think Kieth Haring meets Shel Silverstein in style.) There are several shade sizes and colors available and we can make any drop length you need.

What do you think?...

Griffin the Omega Too dog turns 3!

We field a lot of questions about our little shop dog, Griffin. Usually greeting folks at the door of Omega Too Wednesday through Friday. ( Except in the summer, when he likes to stay home with the kids.) He's 3 years old today!
Griffin "Door" Bell is 1/2 Beagle, 1/2 Pug = "Puggle" and looooves coffee. If you set your mug down, beware, he'll try and knock it over. He is also afraid of the dark. ( luckily he works in a lighting store.)
Come in and wish him a happy birthday!

Spaces that make good use of vintage, industrial, lighting:

In our attempt to stay current, we're always surfing around the net, or flipping through magazines, to see what the rest of the world is up to, and how Omega Too should stay relevant. Images like these always seem to get saved to a reference folder, or printed out for the inspiration wall over Mark's work bench. Have any you'd like to share or want us to see? We love visual feedback.

The Oliai House, Berkeley CA

Here's the first glimpse of the amazing house of Fred & Nina Oliai.
Vanessa designed some lights for them, which we hope to see featured in our "Show & Tell" section of omegatoo.com. But for now, here are the first shots of their African Mohogany front door from Omega Too.
can't wait to see the rest!.....
